Just that one sentence was able to shut him up from further putting down all the people you love! Hope the guy was able to reflect on his own bad attitute and mouth and maybe, just maybe, end up a better person because of your words.
God bless,
BrendaBrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14289590616497815887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2343888350342831393.post-75506370365194531922008-06-27T22:52:00.000-04:002008-06-27T22:52:00.000-04:00GOOD FOR YOU!!! My husband umpired college baseball for years so I have heard him called everything in the book and I have gotten very 'agitated' (nice word for ticked off) at people. You know we are baseball people here too and we are smack dab in the middle of our tournament.....tonight was fine, but the coaches from last night were awful. You would have thought we were the NEW YORK YANKEES instead of the Elizabethton Boys Club Yankees.....oh my goodness! My husband coaches too but he rarely gets upset - these kids are 8 yrs old for goodness sake.BethAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238839175341836771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2343888350342831393.post-41640139949262967002008-06-27T18:45:00.000-04:002008-06-27T18:45:00.000-04:00How crazy is this story...I'm sure you've made you...How crazy is this story...I'm sure you've made your husband very proud! Thank you for your courage to say anything at all. It would have been just as easy to keep quiet, let your anger build up and been sorry you failed to say something.
