Beach Party

I am participating in the Ultimate Blog Party hosted by 5 minutes for Mom.....Considering it is freezing cold here in Tennessee....What better type of party to host than a BEACH Party!!!!! I am sitting here in my den, under my snowman blanket, freezing...and snow is falling outside....So, grab yourself a chair, and sit down and visit for a while...You can have the chair, because I think I am going to spread out the ole' beach towel and take in some rays...A girl can dream, can't she?My name is Cassie, and I am a happily married mother of three...We are a very busy family...running to ballgames, theatre practices, school functions, ect. all of the time....I married my high school sweetheart and we have been blessed by this crew that we are sharing our lives with...Thanks for stopping by my blog!! I have been blogging for almost a year now, I started to help my family keep up with the "going's on" of the Allen's...and it has turned into an obsession, therapy, and an ongoing list of many other things.....

I heart photography...my Nikon is my best friend...so be sure to check out my photography site also...Still Moments Photography....I am a Registered Nurse, with a small photography business on the side....Dreaming big...Hoping, one day, to quit the work force and only take pictures...But for now, I am doing both....=(

Thanks for stopping by my blog...Be sure to stay and visit a while...I look forward to meeting you....(for those of you who knew all of this 'stuff' about me, sorry...just ignore this post) Have a great day at the BEACH party!!!!

I Love your Beach Party! We are having an impromptu one here too as well.

Does it usually snow in Tenesee?? We have so much falling here it is really truly incredible. I have been taking photos all day to document the amount.

Great to meet you!

That picture is making me feel warmer already. The wind here this week cuts to the bone and I'm looking forward to warmer days. I lived in TN for a couple of years. Great state! Hop over to my party when you have time.

beach party, yay! it's still pretty cold here too, but the snow is melting, so some days we have giant puddles. Your blog name totally reeled me in! Days of our Lives is my favorite soap!

Great post, I love the beach party idea. I am also from TN, but know I am in AL. I also love photography, just fooling around with it right now though. Just got my Nikon D80 for Christmas so I don't know alot about it yet.

Anyway have fun at the parties!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!

Good luck on your dream!!! I had my own portrait photography business for about three years. I found that the busier I got, the less I really enjoyed what I was doing, and so I closed my business to be with my family more. I still get flack from people I run into at MOPS when they have new babies or bellies that are about to pop and wish I would take their portraits. LOL

Registered nurses hold a special place in my heart--my mom has been one for nearly 40 years :)

If you need some sun, come visit my party in sunny southern Italy when you get a chance:

I enjoyed looking around your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine, too. My best friend is a photographer and you can see a lot of her work on my blog, as well as a link to her photography blog.

I love Tennessee! My daddy was from Tennessee and we used to visit him there after he retired and moved back (spent his adult life in Michigan). He was from a little town in the middle of the state, Viola.
Anyway, we kept trying to figure out a way to move to TN but there weren't any jobs for my hubby out where we wanted to live. Oh well!
Hope the photography just really takes off and you can quit the other job!

Just stopped by to say thanks for visiting my blog party, and was shocked to see the picture of the Cabbage Patch Dolls under your X post. Now, instead of just thanks for stopping by, I'll say hi from the birth place of Xavier Roberts and Babyland General Hospital. Since I have triplets and their older sister was only 17 months when they were born, people often joke about my house being Babyland, but seriously XR was born in my hometown, and we have the museum/ pretend hospital/ tourist attraction running here still.... seriously. I'll definately be back to check out your site again. I love my D-80, but I am still a complete novice. Any tips or suggestions?

Thanks for stopping by our site. I like your beach party post. Being in Hawaii I sometimes take the beach for granted but your post sure did make me want to cut out of work, pick up the kids and head out for some fun in the sun!

A beach would be great right about now. Though I'd rather be in Tennessee most of the other time.

Hello! Great blog party you have posted here! We have a few things in common... being married to our high school sweetheart, would rather be at the beach instead of this thing called winter, and the love of photography!

Wow, a BEACH party? How'd you know that is one of my favorite places on earth to be at? LOL!!
Thanks for dropping by my party earlier..I'm going to bookmark your blog and return again ;0) We do have ALOT in common!
I didn't say it on my blog but I like to dabble in photography. I don't get to dabble as much as I'd like or with as nice a camera as I'd like but I still enjoy taking shots with my little Nikon ;)
