A Part of God's Family

After the Easter program last night, when we got home, Ian had lots of questions about the play...the skit ect....We were answering them the best we could...When he asked this question..."What if you thought you got saved when you were little, but you don't think you really did? Would you still be saved?" We explained this to him, and Ian proceeded to tell James he didn't think he was saved...(Ian asked Jesus into his heart when he was 5 years old, and last night informed us that the only reason he wanted to get saved then was so he could do the Lord's Supper) So, I guess you know what comes next....Ian made the desicion last night to get saved...10 years old..crying because he knows he is a sinner, he wants the protection of the Lord that he saw last night on the stage of the Easter play, He now can say, "I know, that I know, that I know." ....My baby is now a part of God's family...Thank you Lord...

That is great news for Ian and all of you!! He sure is growing up. Maybe we will see you at the Easter egg hunt at church (I didn't even know they were having one until late last night). We are getting ready and going to storage so if we get done there we will come to it. Have a great weekend and Easter!
