Field Day (Better late than never)

Last Friday the kids had Field Day at school..James and I have always taken off to spend this day with the kids...and this year was no different...They had a great day...It was absolutely beautiful outside...blue sky, and warm...We couldn't have asked for better weather....I took a ton of pictures...but I won't bore you guys with all my boring Field day pics...so I will just share a few of my favorites....Considering I am posting this 3 days later...I can't really think of much else to write...so here are the pics....This is Ian and his good friend, Tyler...doing the pototo sack race...They cracked me up...Very Competitive...the only words that describe them....=) besides cute!!Here is Macey and her good friend, Kendall...Not so sure, I could say that Macey is competitive...but she sure is funny....You should have seen her rolling the tire...PRICELESS!!The "guys" playing tug-o-war...Ian's favorite game ever...He loves to play this...The high school kids from DB came over during their PE class...and they played against Ian's class....Too funny..This pic of Mace cracks me up...She was squeezing a sponge into the cup on her friends head....it was a sort of relay...Her face is so serious....Ha ha... They had a great day...There are so many "things" coming up in the next couple of weeks in school...Field Trips, Carowinds trip, Class picnics, Awards day, and of course, the dreaded 5th Grade Promotion day...=( Anyway, just wanted to update...Hope everyone has a great week....I heard this song this morning at the gym, and I love it...meant to share it before, but what better day...than a beautiful "sunshiney" day like today...
