There is Wordless Wednesday, Thankful Thursday, Sing Along Saturday and so on and so on.....and so I began thinking "What about Flashback Friday????" I created this one...Myself...I know, I thought it was a good idea too....=) I was reading a few of the comments people left yesterday...Diana left one about our 'infamous beach trip' a few years ago...that Diana, Jennifer and myself took....and how she loved to take walks down "memory lane"...and so do I ....so I thought I would start posting an "old but good" picture from the Allen's past on Fridays. It may not be every Friday, but I will make an attempt....I think looking through old pictures is fun, and believe me, I have plenty to choose from.....So, here is my first one...I was reading my Bible yesterday and saw this picture tucked into my Bible...It has been there for a long time...It was there where someone gave it to me from this so-called "camping trip"....There were like 18 of us packed into this camper and it RAINED all weekend!!! Maybe this is why I am not a "camping fan"....But even though we were packed in this camper together...we couldn't have been with a better bunch of people...We had a great time this weekend with some amazing friends! I look at this picture and it is amazing at how much we have changed over the years...Time sure does fly when you are having fun!!! (If you read my blog, and went on this crazy camping trip..be sure to comment!! I love to hear what you guys have to say!!) Worked last night...so once again...good night!!

Hey good looking camper that you was in. Who is that looking out of the bottom bunk? Thoes poor camper tires was never the same. ha
That is sweet little Diana looking out of that bunk...I think she was in there with Ian, Macey and Parker...She had her hands full!!
Oh my goodness! I haven't even thought about that trip in a long long time!! I have never felt more like a sardine in all of my life.
I will never forget Michael coming in from fishing at 2:00 in the morning and stepping on everyone! Then ripping the tab off of the Coke can and waking up everyone else that he hadn't already been stepped on! All we did was laugh at him....when we should have hit him with a bunch of BIG pillows! Wait..we probably didn't have any! What will I ever do with that boy! LOL!!!
Man...We were some TAN people crammed into that camper.
After that trip I never quite ever felt the need for camping again. HA!!
Pat..I feel sure those tires were most definitely NEVER the same again.
So funny. We weren't on that trip, but it cracked me up jus the same to see this picture. :-)
Imagine this...if we did that trip now, we would be adding 12 more kids!!!(if I counted right). Those were fun times with great friends!

How funny...That looks like it would been so fun!!!!! My camper is 34 ft long, but that's alot of people in a camper!!!
Oh my goodness....what a great one to start off with. I will never forget that trip. As I recall, we had someone literally stuck in every possible spot we could find. I was the one on the bottom bunk and as I recall - I did have all the kids back there it seems at some point. I remembered getting little sleep that night...either from all of us giggling or once we did get sleep, having Michael "drop" in. I also remember vividly having lots of little arms, feet and elbows poking me all night long --- but you know, I would not have had it any other way. I love all the kids and they are all such precious memories. I am with Cassie...camping is not high on my list of things to do ..... I would rather be in a hotel room -- but I have to say I would do that one all over again. To all of you in this picture....I love all of you and you hold such a special place in my life.
I thank my God upon every rememberance of you!!!
Diana
I wont even ask why you all were cram-packed into a camper ;-)
I recognize some of those people (only they are more tan that I remember - alot more).
It might have rained but look at all the fun memories you have (and now you know never to do that again). Travis and Diana go to our church - I will have to ask them about being crammed into a camper like sardines!
What a great time. I agree Sarah, I don't think it would be quite the same with 12 kids. What a memory. I will never forget Michael coming in and saying what in the world. Where do I sleep? We said just lay down somewhere.
