Can you be Allergic to Everything?

I know I said earlier this week that I would update on how James was doing...He had his appointment yesterday, and had allergy testing done...We found out he is allergic to EVERYTHING!! You name it, it came up positive on his test...He got started on some maintenance asthma medications, and is going to be starting allergy shots next week...I am so thankful that this issue has been resolved...or at least headed in that direction....He has been struggling with this way to long now.....Thanks so much for your prayers....Hopefully he is on the road to "better breathing"....Worked last night...so, Good Night....

Oh, Cassie, I'm so glad he found out. My BF in high school had terrible allergies and asthma... she would need her inhaler when we walked by the popped corn in the theaters, because she was allergic to corn. Maybe just the smell, can't remember. I'm sure it's frustrating, but so thankful it's going to be manageable. What a blessing!

I am so sorry to hear that James is allergic to so many things. I completely understand. I had my allergies tested right after Travis and I got married. Mine had always given me problems, but they continued to get worse until I had no other choice, but to be tested. My back was one big swollen mess by the time all was said and done. The doctor placed me on two medications and I also began shots. Thankfully mine did not cause asthma symptomes.

I took shots for over 5 years and when I first started I went twice a week for injections. The doctor told me the best thing I could do would be to move to the "Beach". That didn't sound like such a bad idea.

On an encouraging note...the shots really did help me a lot. I no longer take any medications on a regular basis and the really amazing thing is that while I was pregnant with Brayden I had no allergy problems throughout the entire summer. I know that was totally a God thing and I am so thankful for that.

My prayers are with you all.....I am glad they found out what was causing all the problems.

Did you change your blog again??? I know I already talked to you but just wanted to let you know that although it stinks being allergic so much and having to do so much maintenance and take so many meds...it will make him feel better in the end. I have been like this my entire life and it becomes a way of life after a while. I am just happy it was nothing worse!! We love you guys and are here if you need anything!

Hey...I asked because it just has a solid green layout now without that center light color and design like before. Strange...especially if you don't see it but when I click on your blog all I see is the solid color. Hmmm....

Nope still the same color's when I look @ it on my end..but that's how mine started the color's then I lost everything...It did stress me, but oh well, no use crying over spilt milk, but Nicole fixed my background.....I hate I lost everything, but Oh well...

So odd...when I view your blog from work it looks normal but from home it doesn't. I hope nothing is happening to my computer at home!!!

I had this exact same thing in high school. I didn't have asthma reactions, my whole body would break out in giant hives.
I had to take a medication (can't remember what now) everyday, but within 2 years, I had outgrown it. Apparently whatever was "off" in my body adjusted itself.
