Is He Cute or What?

Yes, this is the CUTEST baseball player I think I have ever seen...Last night was Cade's first t-ball game, and he was SO excited....Being the 3rd child, obviously he gets lots of hand me downs...Hand me down shirts, pants, shoes, cleats, and sports "equipment"...But I thought for his first game, I would get him a new pair of baseball pants...and he looks absolutely adorable in them...He was thrilled with his hat and uniform shirt...He thought he was Big stuff...before the game ever started....He even asked if he could wear a belt like "bubby"..so we dug in Ian's dresser and found one that semi-matched....James LOVES to coach...Can I say that again? James is an obsessed, crazy, over-the-top, loves to teach kids, even if he is a little extreme kind of coach....;) Love you honey...He is helping Duffer coach Cade's tball team...He is the head coach on Ian's team....He just loves to be on the field coaching the kids....He is just good that way....Here is a picture of him and his new little baseball star... Proud Mommy....This is a little crazy, I know..but I couldn't help get a little emotional over this game....My little one is playing baseball...He looks so big in his uniform...Trying to enjoy every minute of his little life...because he is growing up so fast....Cade with his Mamaw and Papaw....They had a great time watching him play...and they don't "do" sports often...But it is funny how things change when those grandkids are on the field....Sports become way more fun....Love you Mamaw and Papaw....Cade's number one fan, Miss Mace...Up at bat...They get 3 pitches before they hit off the tee...and Cade hit this one, and just about knocked Duffer down!!! He had to duck to keep from getting hit....Way to go Cade!!!
And he was off.... Getting some serious advice from the 3rd base coach...(James) I love his batting gloves...they are Ian's...but he sure thought he was something wearing them....
He does take after his brother...He is fast as lightening....He shot around the bases so fast, he was almost a blur...=) Love this picture of him running....
This one cracked me up...He found the pocket in the back of his pants...and couldn't keep his hand out of it...Too cute...and he has his little tongue sticking out...He was doing some serious concentrating...He actually played pretty good considering he has never set foot on a baseball field, except to run around the bases after Ian's games....He is catching on quickly... This is a pic of Jett cheesing after he made a run...I was trying to be non obvious, and snap a pic of him going into the dugout, but I got busted.... Cade had to end his game by sliding into home plate....It was too cute...He had a great game...We were so proud of him....I know I went a little overboard on the pictures...but it WAS his first game...I took way more than I posted....=)Worked last night...going to bed..have a good Thursday...

Okay, even apathetic baseball "fans" like me are gonna love those shots. How cute! And I think I'm going to have to reform. Clay has been asking to practice in the yard lately. :-)

He has such an excited smile on his face in all the pictures, except when he's playing when he looks so intense. He's adorable.
