Cade's Bays Mountain Field Trip

Today Cade's class went on a field trip to Bays Mountain (a local park in our area). I got to go with him, and we had a great time....We got to see lots of animals-a bobcat, raccoon, raptor, owl, deer, and wolves...The guide that was with us was very informative, and shared lots of things with the kids about the animals. One of the coolest parts of the trip was the wolves. The guide "howled" and got the wolves to begin howling. The kids loved it...The wolves were running around in circles howling so loud. It was sort of creepy. I was just glad that they were behind a LARGE fence....Here are a few pics of the day...Here is Cade with Cheyenne(the little girl that I had to watch today along with Mr. Cade)Marcus, Cade and Tayla looking at the turtles.....Cade and Tayla watching the wolves...This was Cade's favorite part....Here is the creepy little owl, Yoda...Not a fan of him....personally.Getting ready for lunch. Cade smiling for me....Washing our hands...getting ready to eat.....Mommy and Cade...Cade being silly..of course....Cade with Mrs. Krantz, his teacher. The whole class....posing for a picture....The kids had a great time...looking forward to the next field trip....
