Christmas Tree Friday

Well, I am going to go along with my friend, Beth, and participate in Christmas Tree Friday...I will post a few pictures that I just took of my tree and a few of my favorite ornaments....I am in my fleece pj's, while everyone in the house is asleep, and I am photographing my tree...Hee hee...I just laughed at myself...just so I could come over here to the laptop and post the pics on my blog...I think I have a problem....=) Oh well, problem or not...Here goes....I only put up one tree....One is more than enough for me...I took this picture of our den....I love it...Lamp light makes me happy....
Here is my tree...I love it...It is so pretty...and so "us"...We put anything and everything on our tree....Things we love, places we have been, crafts the kids have made....you name it...it is probably on there....I love my grapevine star...with country red berries....loving the light on the ceiling....Ian's ornament...when he was little...too cute...always makes me smile....James and Cassie's First Christmas Together Ornament...We got this at the place in Pigeon Forge...We were so proud of this one.... My NYC memory....We love this one....Cade's contribution to the tree...all of the cartoon characters about 2 inches from the floor....but I can't bring myself to spread them out, or move them....so they just hang very close to the floor....It is finished...James bought this for me...and I think it represents all the Christmas is to us....Jesus was born in a manger many, many years ago...to become our Saviour...Remember during the entire month of December...why we celebrate Christmas.....Merry Christmas....

Your tree is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

It looks so warm and home-y in your den....the kind of tree that makes people want to sit and stare at it........nothing wrong with just one tree.......we would only have one except we need more room for the ornaments the kids have made.....remember, my big tree has no back to it! hahahahha
That Cowboys ornament is precious....we need those....the hubs is a CB fan from way back.
And I love love love the It is Finished one too......Thanks for playing!!!

Im with Bethanne..I don't decorate the back that no one can see...

I love lamp lighting too, the soft white/yellow glow...

Girl, I thought you were OCD!? A real OCDer would move those ornaments. I moved several on our tree for the same reason. I'm going to make myself stop now though. I realized something else, looking at your pictures. I think I need to buy a tree skirt. I might like our tree more if it had a kickin' tree skirt.

Well you I love your tree...I said so years ago...especially since we have very similiar taste. I used to not decorate the back of my tree either until Duffer came along and it drove him crazy. He could see the plain tree from the window and didn't like it. I am also with Tanja...been looking for the perfect tree skirt for years and still haven't bought a new one.

I do decorate the back of my tree...but that is just where I put the ornaments that I "am not very fond of"....The OCD in me could not just decorate the front of it....=)

As always, you have outdone yourself again. I don't know why I am so amazed, after all these are YOUR pictures I am looking at. The Chrsitmas card pic turned out beautifully. I love the lighting. The glow from the tree and from the lamp kinda balance each other out. And I do decorate the back of my tree too, with the ornaments I'm not too crazy about. ANYWHO, I've told you before....you are awesome. I am so happy I can call you my friend :)

The living room shot would make an awesome Christmas card too...or a fabulous scrapbook page. :) I started to buy these grapevine star lights that wrap around the tree but they wouldn't arrive until close to Christmas...will probably get for next year...now that I look at your tree...they would match your star on top perfectly!!! I love the grapevine stuff...wish I was more crafty and could make me some stuff with it....like those angels you did that year.
