Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve is usually quite uneventful. For years we had to run here and there, and never seemed to get all of the running done until bedtime. . . For the past few years, we have done Christmas with our extended family the weekend or so before-so when it came down to Christmas Eve and Christmas day-the only thing we had left to do is OUR family. . .which is so much less stressful. . .So today consisted of me sleeping ( I worked last night) and then just "hanging out". We did several loads of laundry, trying to get the house cleaned up before Santa comes. . .but our main event for the day was to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks with Michelle and Jamey (James's sister). It was such a cute movie and the kids loved it. Here is a pic of the kids I took with my cell phone. . .
After the movie, Michelle kept the kids and James and I came home and finished up the laundry, wrapped up a few last minute gifts, and then before we knew it, it was time to pick the kids up again. . .On our way home, I stopped by Christy's house to give her gift to her. . .Visited with the Hite's for a few minutes and then we all came home and attempted to get the kids to bed. For those of you who know Cade, he has pretty bad asthma-so last night-we were up until 3am with him, coughing, wheezing, all of the fun stuff that comes with an asthma attack. =) I had his head in the shower with the bathroom full of steam at 2:30 am. . . Cade is on inhalers now, and he had used all of the medicine that he could use, and we were considering the ER. . .The shower helped him though. Thank the Lord-and he finally fell asleep. Good Night-Merry Christmas.
